Jeff Eaton has been actively involved in the development of hockey players since 1997, coaching and advising players in Canada and the United States, he has earned a solid reputation in showing promising athletes how to reach their full potential. He has worked with and continues to work on behalf of players and families as an advisor in collaboration to make the best decisions for the player based on their individual goals and most suitable options.
Jeff has been the Owner, Director and Head Coach of the Pacific Steelers Jr Female Hockey Club since 2007, an all-encompassing program similar to a Jr program on the boys’ side. Previously, he was the Head Coach for the University of Colorado Men’s Varsity Hockey Team where he helped lead the team to back-to-back appearances in the American Collegiate Hockey Association’s National Tournament in 2006 and 2007.
Prior to the University of Colorado, Jeff was the General Manager and Hockey Director at Burnaby Winter Club. He helped lead AAA teams at every level to 33 PCAHA league and playoff Championships and five BCAHA Championships. Including back-to-back Bantam Championships in 2002 and 2003, with the 2002 team winning a Western Canadian Championship. While at BWC, he oversaw over 30 players selected to the Western Hockey League’s Bantam Draft. In addition, he has coached elite programs such as the Vancouver Vipers and the Brick Team in 2004 and 2005.
Before Coaching, Jeff played at the Burnaby Winter Club and on the top teams in Vancouver. Jeff began his Junior hockey career at the age of 14, where he spent five years with teams such as the Trail Smoke Eaters and the Nanaimo Clippers.
