2011 WHISTLER FEMALE PREP CAMP

THE Advantage Hockey is excited to once again be holding the Whistler Female Prep Camp for 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996 born players.  Our goal is to offer elite players an intense hockey training environment and offer families an opportunity to enjoy Whistler and all it has to offer.  This camp will focus on on and off ice training in the morning and then give players the opportunity to enjoy the Whistler activities in the afternoon.

We will be accepting 14 skaters ( of high caliber ) per session into this week long camp. The main focus of the camp will be individual skill development, including explosive power skating, edge control, shooting techniques, scoring strategies and stick handling. Small groups will allow for the best possible training environment, with a 7:1 player to instructor ratio.

Dates: August 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Location: Whistler B.C. – Meadow Park Sports Center Ice Arena

1993, 1994, 1995 & 1996 Born – Females

SESSION ONE:

On Ice Session Times: 8:00am – 9:15am & 11:00am – 12:00pm

Dry-Land Session Time: 9:30am – 10:30am

SESSION TWO:

On Ice Session Times: 9:30am – 10:45am & 12:30pm – 1:30pm

Dry-Land Session Time: 11:00am – 12:00pm

On Ice Instructors: Jeff Eaton & Jordie Armon-Jones

Off Ice Instructor: TBA

• Maximum 14 skaters
• 2.25 hours on ice instruction per day
• 1 hour dry-land instruction per day
• Camp Jersey & Socks & T-Shirt
